Technology

Software that works on the road to the village, or it is not software.

AMDana is the clinical layer. IPMS is the operating layer underneath it. Both were built for metered data, intermittent power and a phone in a clinician's hand — not for a workstation on campus fibre.

AMDana

The clinical layer.

Records, triage support, follow-up and patient communication for teams that are frequently out of coverage and never out of work.

Works when the network does not

Clinical work continues offline on the device and reconciles when connectivity returns. Outreach teams are gone for days at a time; nothing waits for a signal.

Phone first

Designed for the device a Nigerian clinician actually carries, on a data plan that is metered, not for a workstation on campus fibre.

Language and literacy aware

Patient-facing flows work in the languages of the communities served, and do not assume a literate patient with an email address.

Assists, never prescribes

Triage support, documentation drafting, follow-up and reminders. Every clinical decision is a clinician's, recorded as theirs, and reviewable.

IPMS

The operating layer.

The Integrated Practice Management System runs the parts of a health service that have nothing to do with medicine and decide whether the medicine happens: staffing, supply, scheduling, payroll, books and reporting.

One operating record

Patients, appointments, records, supply, staffing, payroll and reporting in one system instead of six ledgers and a WhatsApp group.

Payroll that runs on time

The most under-rated retention tool in African health delivery. A clinician paid late twice starts answering recruiters.

Reporting partners can audit

Cohort outcomes, deployment status, service volumes and spend exportable in the formats funders and ministries actually ask for.

Privacy by construction

Role-based access, audited state changes, short idle sessions, and patient data that stays inside the system rather than in filenames, spreadsheets and text messages.

What it is for

Time is the scarcest clinical resource in the region.

A clinician losing double-digit hours a week to registers, referral letters, stock counts and claim forms is a clinician not seeing patients. The projection page puts a number on what the platform hands back across the whole practising pool — and lets you set that number to zero if you think the claim is inflated.

See the assumption, and change it
  • Assists, never decidesEvery clinical decision is a clinician's, recorded as theirs, and reviewable. The platform drafts, reminds, schedules and reconciles.
  • Audited by constructionRole-based access and an audit trail on every state change, because a system partners are asked to trust has to be able to show its work.
  • Data stays putPatient information lives inside the system — not in filenames, spreadsheets, exports or text messages.

The platform is the reason four people can run a real service.
